The boys were invited to Grandpa Monte’s staff kids’ Christmas party again this year. They had a blast (it was at the new science centre). The highlight, of course, was the visit from Santa. No tears this year! Maguire was unsure, but sat still while the camera snapped away. Jakzen waited — very patiently — for his turn to sit on Santa’s knee. And he knew exactly what to do. There was zero hesitation when he was asked what he wanted for Christmas. An e-reader. Santa said…”um, pardon me??” Yes, that’s right. My 3.5 year old wants an e-reader. *sigh*
Cute sidenote: Jak’s present from Santa at the party was some Lego. When he opened it, he said, “I guess Santa is all out of e-readers”.
Shopping sidenote: Santa wants to get Jakzen the V-Tech Innotab (which Santa will be calling an e-reader…), but everywhere we’ve checked has been sold out. If you see any, please text/call me! Santa needs some help.
