Okay, so about a week ago I saw this thing online about “Boo’ing” your neighbours before Halloween. The idea is that you secretly treat your neighbours to some pre-Halloween goodies, they put a sign on their door that says they have been “Boo’ed”, and then they do the same for another couple of neighbours. All in the name of getting into the spooky spirit! Today this fun idea popped up again on my interweb travels a couple of times. So I took it as a sign (you know, since I’m currently fighting off the powers of those ominous fortune cookies from yesterday).
We made up a couple treat bags tonite, chock full of Halloween goodies, and then Nick and Jakzen ventured out to deliver them. Jak wasn’t quite as fast as he was supposed to be and got totally busted at one of the houses, but no one seemed to mind — the kids at the house got the treats, and Jakzen got to shout “HAPPY HALLOWEEN!”
